Bangladesh posted the fifth-highest total of the Providence Stadium, Guyana venue in first one day international. From this tour in the first test West Indies won by an innings and 219 runs, In second test West Indies, won by 166 runs and in the first one day international Bangladesh won by 48 runs which is a very good comeback from Bangladesh team and it was a very poor performance by the home team.
In the first ODI Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first, and scored 279/4, their first wicket was dismissed at 1 and second wicket down at 208. The opener of the team Tamim Iqbal scored 130 runs not out, he smashed ten boundaries and three 6s in his beautiful innings. Anamul Haque has gone with duck, Shakib Al Hasan smashed 97 runs when his wicket dismissed then it was (44.3 there’s finally some intent. It means Shakib won’t get the hundred, but team score more important. Tries to force a sweep and gets a top-edge.. Hetmyer runs forward and grabs a sliding catch. Good hand from Shakib, but should this intent have come earlier? 208/2). Mushfiqur Rahim † contributed 30 runs.

The visitors will once again pin their hopes on a Providence Stadium pitch that offers turn and bounce, although how it behaves in the second session would be a mystery to them. There’s a lot of rain in the forecast, so delays and disruptions wouldn’t be a total surprise. Whether they stick with Anamul Haque or bring in Liton Das is perhaps the only question the Bangladesh team management has to ponder. Kieran Powell and Keemo Paul are waiting in the wings but unless West Indies decide to add an extra batsman, it is likely to be the same XI.
